Silage stretch film
Silage stretch film, also known as bale wrap or baleage film, is a specialized plastic packaging material used in agriculture for wrapping and preserving silage or forage crops. Silage is a fermented feed made from green forage crops like grass, corn, or other plant materials, which are stored in airtight conditions to undergo anaerobic fermentation. This process helps preserve the nutritional quality of the forage for feeding livestock during times when fresh forage is not readily available. Silage stretch film is typically made from high-quality polyethylene plastic. This material is chosen for its strength, durability, and ability to stretch, allowing it to tightly seal the silage.
